University of Wisconsin Nuclear Reactor

Located in the Max Carbon Radiation Science Center in the Engineering Physics Department, UW’s 1 MW TRICA reactor is used both for education and research purposes.

Wisconsin Applied Computing Center

WSEL offers a variety of instrumentation, including BET, fluorimeter, HPLC, IC, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, LC-MS, Raman Spectrometer, Sode-Multiparameter Water Quality, TOC, and UV-Vis

Nanoscale Fabrication Center

70+ instruments providing both additive and subtractive techniques (including deposition and plasma etching), assemble, packaging, metrology, patterning (lithography), thermal processing, and more
