University of Wisconsin Nuclear Reactor

1 MW TRICA reactor located in the Max Carbon Radiation Science Center in the Engineering Physics Department.

Ion Beam Laboratory

NEC 1.7 MV tandem accelerator—useful for analyzing material damage from radiation, including in alloys, ceramics, and coatings.

Soft Materials Characterization Lab

UW-Makerspace 

Includes 3D printers, Computer Aided Design, CNC Routers, drones, electronics, laser cutters, a machine shop, mechatronics, textiles and vinyl, & a thermoformer.

Includes BET, fluorimeter, HPLC, IC, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, LC-MS, Raman Spectrometer, & Sode-Multiparameter Water Quality.

Nanoscale Fabrication Center
